Although its tough to get a word in at home among her nine siblings, New York state native, Lys Goldman ’20 looks to tell plenty of stories as a first-year staff writer.
“I used to always love writing stories when I was little,” Goldman said. “Now I usually stick to reading.” However, she is excited to get back to writing this year for Inklings.
Goldman is a varsity soccer center midfielder at Staples this season, which is something she’s been looking forward to as the fall approaches. This summer, she went to Canada and Lake Placid. Her trip to Canada was her first trip outside of the US. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her pets, all 11 of them (6 dogs and 5 cats).
