9:46 a.m. Social Studies teacher Catherine Schager’s period 8 U.S. History Honors class was filled with smiles and laughter today, April Fool’s Day. While Schager attempted to lecture about American Indian eugenics, students played Indian Chief by having everyone silently and simultaneously scratch their ears, hold up a finger as a moustache, and lift up their books. Although initially confused, Schager eventually gave into the class’ infectious laughter.
