11:12 a.m. Mu Sochua, a member of Cambodian Parliament and a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize, came to Staples today to give a talk in room 2014 regarding human trafficking. Sochua, who produced the documentary “Redlight,” was brought to Staples by the Connecticut chapter of Vital Voices. Several classes, including sections of Anthropology, US History A, US History Honors, East Asian Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies, attended Sochua’s talk.
