Working as an EMT during COVID has complicated matters for many volunteers such as Olivia Bollo ’21. Extensive amounts of PPE are necessary even when addressing calls unrelated to Covid. However, Bollo, along with other EMTs, was recently able to receive her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Bollo is the first in her family to receive the vaccine and remains hopeful her parents will receive their doses soon.
