In hopes of learning different varieties of writing, Kristina Chaney ’23 joined Inklings to experience writing for a newspaper, as she had only been previously exposed to creative writing.
With great disappointment, she realized that perhaps this style wasn’t exactly fitting for her.
“Turns out I really don’t like news writing all that much but I think it will be a good experience,” Chaney said.
Chaney’s hobby revolves around drawing and creating graphics which was another factor that lured her into Inkings.
“I’ve already made graphics for Inklings and I am taking Advanced Drawing right now,” Chaney said. “ I hope to continue [drawing] classes in the future.”
