Tori Lubin, Staff Writer
Tori Lubin ’17 may be new to Inklings this year, but she’s no stranger to the world of journalism. “One time in fifth grade my mom came home and found me making my own newspaper,” she laughed. “I always imagined I’d do journalism in high school.”
While waiting for her opportunity to join Inklings, however, Lubin has been far from idle. A lover of show tunes, Lubin spent much of her life in theatre and dance. After realizing her affinity for ballet, she decided to try fencing, which, she explained, is similar to dance in its technique.
Fencing came naturally for Lubin. This summer, she was invited to compete in a national tournament in California. “I fence every afternoon—it’s pretty much all I do these days,” she joked.
Whether it be fencing, musical theatre, or journalism, Lubin approaches new experiences with open arms and a bright, shining smile.
