Nate Gerber ’27 developed an interest in current events from his parents. He later found journalism through his love for writing and passion for following the news. 

“I love to write, and I love stories, current events and learning about the world around me and how it’s rapidly evolving,” Gerber said.

Gerber also plays and listens to music and follows politics, but feels upset when news sources spread misinformation. “I feel like now more than ever,” Gerber said, “people need to be educated journalists, and need to know how to efficiently convey what is happening around the world to others.”
