Staff Writer Maddie Bell ’23 is all about having a good time with family. Since the 1930’s her family has been taking a one-week-long trip to Long Beach Island every summer. 

“My whole family goes–my cousins, grandparents, everyone,” Bell said. “We are all in one house and it’s really fun […]. It’s always the highlight of my summer.”

Bell also likes digging into new opportunities. After dropping an English class junior year, she decided to try journalism. She joined Introduction to Journalism which convinced her to become an active member of Inklings this year. 

“I took the intro class and ended up loving it,” Bell said. “That’s when I realized I definitely wanted to take Advanced Journalism.”
