Lily Barsanti

Lily Barsanti, Staff Writer

Dancing fourteen hours a week, six days a week, Lily Barsanti ’14 is determined to pursue what she loves.

Her father being a designer, the arts have always played a role in the lives of both her older brother, twin brother, and certainly her own path. Taking inspiration from her own experiences and the world around her, Barsanti finds dance to be the perfect outlet for her emotions.

“Dancing for a senior company is a rigorous schedule and a tiring commitment, but there is nothing more rewarding than doing what I love,” said Barsanti.

However, dance is not the only platform Barsanti makes a name for herself. Having a great passion for writing, Barsanti took her talents to Emerson College where she spent three weeks improving her journalistic eyes, ears, and brain. Leaving a better writer than she entered, Barsanti feels ready to take on any role in the Inklings world.

Between her dance and her writing, Barsanti is left with very little time to be a regular teenager. However, whether it be online shopping at ShopBop.com for the latest designer clothing, spending time with her friends, or cheering wildly at the Friday night football games, Barsanti always finds time for a social life. Barsanti’s balancing act combined with her love for life makes her a ball of energy.
