The bulk ferment is when the yeast fully developed through rest. The dough should nearly double in size and get bubbly. The warmer the environment, the faster the dough will ferment. If you leave the dough on the counter it will take about eight to 10 hours. For a more sour dough, leave it in the fridge for up to three days for a slower fermentation.

Chloe Murray ’22, Public Relations Director

Public Relations Director Chloe Murray ’22 enjoys her life as a twin and an aspiring journalist.

“We’re super close and we’re very similar people,” Murray says about her twin. “I personally think it’s such a gift.”

In Murray’s pursuit of journalism, she became involved with Inklings and the board of 06880. With this experience, Murray hopes to work in the field of journalism.

“I really like the idea of being a travel journalist. […] I’ve been able to travel a lot in Europe and I’ve just really enjoyed traveling so much,” Murray said. “It’s really what makes me feel happy and like I’m living.”
