Oh the places you’ll go
Dear Inklings seniors,
We’re not going to lie, we considered failing all of you just to keep you around one more year. But then we came to our senses. We’ve said this to you over tear-frosted cupcake parties already, but we’re going to say it again, in front of everyone this time, so you get the credit you deserve. We could not have constructed a better group of seniors to lead Inklings. From story generation to 9 p.m. late nights, from publicity runs to redesigning the website, we consistently counted on and trusted you, and you exceeded every expectation.
While not all of you are going into journalism, communications or anything remotely related to the content of our class, we are confident you will approach your next challenge with the critical eye of the reporter, investigating every angle to find the right path for you.
Honestly, you all possess incredible abilities that you can carry with you. We’ve read articles from you that rival those in the professional journalism world, and we’ve watched videos that have made us laugh, and we’ve listened to podcasts that have made us pause and ponder (like the polysyndeton, Zoe?).
But that’s not why we’re so proud to have worked with you. You’ve made us better teachers, and you’ve left us with memories perfectly transcribed in our minds, all documented in flawless AP style. Though Bailey might have to check us on that.
Your Admiring Advisors,
Ms. Mary Elizabeth Fulco
Ms. Rebecca Marsick
