School administration addressed the senior class in the auditorium on Wed., Sept. 12 at 8:25 a.m. to discuss concerns about “inappropriate behavior” at the upcoming football game. The game, which will take place on Fri., Sept. 14 at 7:00 p.m, will be the first game under the new stadium lights.
During the assembly, Principal John Dodig, Assistant Principal Patrick Micinillio and Football Coach Marce Petroccio all spoke to the senior class about what was expected of students at the game, referring to the seniors as role models.
“What’s fun is coming together as a community and cheering for the Staples Wreckers,” said Petroccio. The administration and faculty are hoping to create a safe and clean environment, while still allowing everyone to have a good time at the upcoming game.
Police will still be present at the night games, just as they are at the day games, to ensure safety and appropriate behavior and discourage the use of drugs and alcohol.
