On Saturday, June 11, Club Green put on EcoFest at the Levitt Pavilion. Local bands played, vendors sold their products, and everyone learned about their impact on the environment, and how they could lessen it. Some booths included electric cars, environmentally friendly cleaning products, and information on single–stream recycling. The main stage featured environmental skits, raffles, and many local bands, including Cheerleader and Six Feet Over. Even in the rain, members of the community found a way to have fun. To take a break from the wet weather, attendants could escape to Toquet Hall, where environmental films were shown. Here is a slideshow of photos from the event.
