On Dec. 7, students participated in the Rotary Speech Contest sponsored by the Westport Rotary Club. In their speeches, students answered the following four questions: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? The applicants applied their speeches to the four criteria of the Rotary Speech Contest. Finalists were Petey Menz ’11, Jeremy Rubel ’11 and Zach Slater ’11. They will compete for the first prize on Dec. 8 at 4:00 p.m at Town Hall.
