Sterling Price ’14, who played doubles in this home match, is pleased with the results. Price said they played well and won their matches in a “pretty dominant fashion.”
“The team’s play was strong; we got through the first match with no problem,” said Luke Foreman ’14, co-captain of the team.
Foreman is optimistic about the season. “The team this year is deep. We are looking forward to remaining at the top of the FCIAC for the remainder of the year,” Foreman said.
Price feels similarly. “I think the team will do really well this season due to the depth that we have at every position within the lineup,” Price said.
Last year, the team came in second during States and FCIAC. Jack Reardon ’14 has his eye on the gold for this season. “It should be a really competitive season and a good fight for states and hopefully an FCIAC championship,” he said.
The second match was held on April 4th in New Canaan, with the next match taking place at home on April 8th at 4:00 p.m.
