This year, Jake Malowitz ’12, finally scored a starting spot on the boys’ soccer team. Next year, as a co-captain, he will find himself in charge of a team living up to high expectations.
“Although we lost some really talented seniors this year, the 2011 team is going to surprise a lot of people.
The 2011 group already has great understanding on the field, which will hopefully result in a few championships,” Malowitz said.
Malowitz has had a key role in containing attackers and limiting any scoring, from his defensive position. Next year though, he plans to be involved a little bit more with the offense.
With two FCIAC and one state championship behind him, Malowitz looks hopefully into his final season on the team.
