It was another great day for the Staples boys’ tennis team on April 21st, winning their match against Fairfield Ludlowe at home with a score of 7-0. So far this season, they’re untouchable, winning all of their matches.
Every team member who played won. Luke Foreman ’14, Jack Reardon ’14, Connor Mitnik ’14, and Max Zimmerman ’17 played singles and the doubles teams consisted of Will Andrews ’16 with Josh Moskovitz ’15 and Jason Chaskin ’14 with Baxter Stein ’14.
“We have a lot of team chemistry that helps us maximize our results,” Max Berger ’15 said.
The team is looking to have a great season ahead with this win being one of many. Their next match is on April 25th against Weston.
According to Charles Sonenclar’14, “I think we have the strongest team we’ve had in my four years at Staples.”
And for seniors, being a part of this talented team is a great way to end their Staples tennis careers.
“It’s great to be a senior on this fantastic team,” Jason Chaskin ’14 said. “I think that our experience and talent will lead us to what we want to achieve this season.”
