On Dec. 10, The Westport Police Athletic League will be providing a bus to transport students to the Rentschler Field football stadium at UConn, in Storrs Conn., where the Staples Wreckers will face the undefeated Xavier Falcons in The Class LL State Championship Game.

According to Athletic Director Marty Lisevick, students will have the opportunity to reserve the 50 seats that are available on the fan bus during all three-lunch waves on Friday outside of the caf.  Also, Tickets can be purchased there for the Saurday game for $10.  The seats on the bus will be available on a first-come first serve basis.

The bus will depart for the game at 4p.m. from outside the Staples Fieldhouse and will include teacher supervision. Lisevick anticipates a full bus and much spirit.

“I’m looking forward to a great crowd, and a great game in the greatest stadium in all of Connecticut. Both the teams and the fans will love it,” Lisevick said. “Go Wreckers.”
