Panagiota Tsilfides ’11
Lacrosse goalie Panagiota Tsilfides prides herself in the wins of the entire team, but her work in the goal greatly adds to the team’s success. Her role, in addition to stopping the other team from scoring, is to call plays and advice to the players on the rest of the field. Her ability to inform the team has lead the team to some huge victories over “powerhouses” such as Greenwich and New Canaan, Tsilfides said. However, she gives much credit to her teammates and their great support; “We all work so well together and when we have fun, we play very well.”
Ever since he won the freshman FCIAC cross-country competition last year, Henry Wynne ’13 has been a star on the track. Just this year, Wynne was the anchor of the 4X800 relay, and placed in the indoor New England championships and placed 20th at Nationals. Individually, Wynne has recently gotten a time of 1:55 in the 800 and 4:21 in the mile. Wynne also gave credit to the hard work of the entire team, “We all
work really hard to be the team we are today, and I’m glad I have been so successful so far and hope to continue my success in the future.”
