Directed by Sean Anders “Daddy’s Home 2” is playing in movie theaters around Westport and is perhaps one of the funniest movies that has recently come out.
Before “Daddy’s Home 2” premiered, the original “Daddy’s Home” was the most recent film directed by Sean Andrews. Although history dictates that the first movie is always the best, “Daddy’s Home 2” beat the odds.
In the film, father and stepfather Brad and Dusty join forces to make the upcoming Christmas the most memorable one yet, but they face many challenges along the way. A memorable scene in the movie features Dusty’s father, known as El Padre, guiding the children to make the wrong choices and make the family separate from each other.
Will Ferrell’s character, Brad, is cheerful and affectionate. Dusty, who is the real father to the children, is played by Mark Wahlberg and is rather macho throughout the film. The two opposing personalities clash together throughout the movie to create great humor.
The movie was packed with hilarious scenes that kept me laughing nonstop. Not only were new characters introduced, but they gave each character its own personality that contributed to the movie.
This movie showed no down sides, as I was able to purchase my seat for $11 just one hour before the movie. The process of getting tickets to a popular film was also stress free, as I was able to buy my tickets online.
Ultimately, if you love comedies and have seen the original “Daddy’s Home” you must go and see Sean Anders’ newest creation. The movie is not only hilarious, but also heartwarming as you watch the the two families come together. The whole time the crowd was off their seat, whooping with laughter. For a cheap $11 “Daddy’s Home 2” is a must see.
