As winter comes to an end, it’s time to put away the chunky sweaters and swap them for some lighter apparel. Here are the top three stores to shop at for your Spring 2017 wardrobe.
- Madewell
This popular denim clothing store has the perfect spring apparel for women. Although it can be a little pricey, they have a wide range of more affordable T-shirts and tops that are both stylish and comfortable. “Whenever I babysit, most of the money I make goes to shopping at Madewell downtown. I love their off-the-shoulder tops and dresses,” said Rachel Seidman ’17.
- Zara
Many people refer to this popular store as the nicer version of Forever 21. The fashionable and trendy clothes are offered to both men and women. Zara sells many reasonably priced shoes, jeans and tops that look similar to major designer brands. “It’s one of my favorite stores to go to in NYC or Greenwich. I also order a lot online, and always get my button down shirts from there. The patterns are really cool,” said Michael Reale ’16. The 2017 Spring arrivals are finally available to purchase, and many top sellers include blouses, bright colored purses, and the pattern to watch out for: stripes.
- Abercrombie & Fitch
The middle school obsession is making a comeback, with new and very cute clothes. The store offers clothes for both men and women, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Men’s tops go for $35 and women’s spring rompers are selling for around $60. Although sporting the famous moose may not seem ideal, you may want to considering it will be everywhere this spring.
