Westport Art Center hosts the print show

This past week, the Westport Art Center held their annual Print Show. This show incorporated over 15 printmaking techniques from various artists. Printmaking is an art form and is the process of making artworks by printing, normally on paper. These fine prints are considered original works of art even though they can exist in multiples. Many artists were represented at WAC, and had their pieces on display. Maddie Jones ‘16 has always been a true art fanatic, and went to see this exhibit, “I really loved the pieces that we’re on display, it was definitely something different than what I normally go to. I love going to the MoMA, and any local art exhibits, so to be able to see one on printmaking was a unique experience.”
