Top This tops off their menu with sweet new snacks
As if it couldn’t get any better, Top This, one of Main Street’s sweetest froyo destinations is adding crepes, soup, and grilled cheese to their menu, making it the quintessential snack place.
Since January of 2013, they have served sweet crepes including “Give me s’more,” cookies and cream and their signature banana nutella.
“I walked in without even knowing that Top This served crepes, and obviously I had to try one,” Noa Wind ’15 said. “It was delicious and made for an amazing Instagram.”
Owner Louise Costantini explains that it is essential to add new additions to the menu to keep customers interested, and their secret homemade crepe recipe is just what they needed.
“We have been doing better since we added crepes,” Costantini said.
“People will come in for yogurt, and then order crepes once they see we have them.”
If crepes were not enough for their satisfying menu, they are planning on adding soups and grilled cheese come October of this year.
“We don’t have a grilled cheese casual lunch place, it’ll be really good for downtown,” Daisy Laska ’16 said.
They are planning on serving tomato basil soup, italian soup and broccoli cheddar soup to compliment a warm home made grilled cheese.
“In the winter time, people want something warm, and what goes better with soup than grilled cheese?” Costantini said.
They are also planning on selling their grilled cheese for low prices, maybe even three dollars, she said.
“That’s something that would really appeal to me and other people my age,” Augustus Cardello ’17 said referring to the low prices.
