“I provide counseling services to students, to students and their families, group counseling and things like that. Students can reach me by either stopping my office, they can email me to set up an appointment, so there’s a variety of ways I’m available. I’m here [room 331] Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.”

“My favorite thing about the gymnastics team is how much of a family we become through my three years, and it’s so much fun to have all the new freshmen join us. We’re really all looking forward to a great season."

“My best friend’s mom brought this hat home from Bolivia for her daughter. Her daughter lacks all fashion taste and thought it was ugly. She was wrong.”

“I threw the ball thinking that a student was paying attention and bonked them right in the cheek. Then I put the ball to rest for the week.”

“My club is about these children in Ethiopia that I took pictures of when I went there to visit my family. These are identified 25 kids that live in extreme poverty... I feel like I should do something to pay back. They are my people.”

“I try to pick an inspirational song [of the day] because music is important and to get [the students] going and make them feel good.”

“It took a long time for me to tie a bow tie. I went to an outlet and one of the bowties was $140 and at the outlet, it was $20 so I was like ‘oh I have to get it even though I don’t know how to tie one.’ After that, it was a few years until I realized it was just as easy as a tie.”
